Google newly launched search tool facing backlash

Last month Google launches search with search feature for some of the popular sites which allows users to stay on google and still search those sites pages..but the idea provokes some serious backlash from many of the industrial majors. Sites as Ebay , Amazon etc.. openly express their unhappiness.

I think the issue which rattles many is that the secondary search box has google ads and the revenue of which is not share among the publisher sites..also showing competitors ads (in case if ) is something no body is willing to digest. Although searchers as me find it really a cool enhancement which is to streamline the search to some extent but players as Amazon thinks the other way.

Google did admitted that it has received several complaints and have turn off the feature from those sites..Well I didn't found the search box with Amazon when I search it today. Still sites as Youtube, Wikipedia, Washingtonpost.com doesn't find anything odd in it and have it on.

The issue really seems an overblown one..and I think that those sites may review their initial hostility towards google value added functionality..

Free keywords search through wordtracker….

Most of the guys I met often ask me from where does Wordtracker pull its keywords results from ! My general reply always is its the analysis of queries searched in Search Engines. Wordtracker give the information on which terms your customers are using to find the products or services you offer when they use search engines. There are many such combinations of keywords which you may never have considered. All search terms are compiled from the major metacrawlers - Dogpile and Metacrawler. You can try it for FREE .

I’d say Wordtracker is good enough in most cases, plus it generates more “human” keywords (unlike Overture). This is an excellent service and is highly recommendable.

Why most sites spam Wiki ?

Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Since its creation in 2001, Wikipedia has rapidly grown into the largest reference website on the Internet. The content of Wikipedia is free, written collaboratively by people from all around the world.

But still there are many around who loves to spam it. How many got successful ? I don’t know the single name. How many sites got banned for spamming wikis ? Well there is a huge list but I am not here to give the names. These spams are unstoppable as wiki is inherently open to being edited, they are largely vulnerable to link spam, especially if that can be hidden. It is possible in a lot of wikis to embed html through a wiki ignore tag.

What most spammers do is to use any automated software to edit a large number of wikis and enter in a particular link or url but are always caught by LinkSleeve . Yeah as anyone with access to an Internet-connected computer can edit, correct, or improve information throughout the encyclopedia so its vulnerbility to such malicious acts is very high. This is the best website I have come across so my motive behind writing this is to personally discourage all such acts.
